L-1011 Electrical: IDG Oil Temperature Indicator (24-5)

Oil temperature exiting the IDG is monitored by an indicator.
  • Range of indicator is 0-180ºC
  • Caution range is 145-180ºC
  • Nominal is 90ºC
Absolute oil temperature is important as oil breaks down when hot and could damage the IDG.
