L-1011 Avionics Bending: SFENA HSI and ARINC 429 - Part 11

The work on the SFENA HSI continues. By the way, SFENA later became Sextant Avionique which then became part of the french Thales Group. Awesome products and very neat engineering that went into this device. In the video below you can see the integration of the following X-Plane parameters

1. Magnetic Heading
2. VOR OBS Setting
3. VOR Omnibearing
4. Autopilot Heading Select 
5. Ground Speed 

There are a few more ARINC 429 labels to go but I do think that I will have pretty much all the components working by the end of the week. Then its on to the fun stuff ... making the HSI work with alternate, pilot selectable, sources and driving both the pilot as well as the first officer's HSI from X-Plane.
