This blog documents a project to build a functional Lockheed L-1011 cockpit replica
using real flight hardware, NI labVIEW and the x-Plane software platform.
Verification of mode engagement is accomplished by observing the message on both AFCS MODESannunciators. An AFCS MODESannunciator is located on the top of each pilot's instrument panel.
