The Lockheed L-1011 has an Escape Hatch in the cockpit above the 2nd observer seat. The hatch would be used by the crew to egress from the cockpit in case of an emergency. There are 5 descent devices in the cockpit that can be used by the 3 crew and the possible 2 observers to escape from the cockpit and descent safely to the ground.
The area just next to the escape hatch in the picture above, is 76.5 inches tall, as shown in the picture below.
The escape hatch opens in-ward, which would be difficult to open under pressurization but also prevents the hatch from blowing out.
