L-101 Simulator Room Preparation at the NMCA |
We are almost done with the room preparations for the L-1011 simulator. We decided to paint the room a dark grey so that that we can reduce the amount of light scatter we will get off the walls once we install the outside scenery projection.
The room currently has two windows which will be blackened out but will also serve as a way of accessing components in the simulator room. Here are a few more pictures from our work today.

We are hoping to move the sim into the room either next week or week after. Here are some more detail images of the simulator in storage. I have been taking inventory of the component pieces. All the breakers on the L-1011 simulator are real and we will use quite a few of them to protect the real flight hardware that we are about to install into the simulator.
